PUBLIC ROOMS
The public rooms at Plas Newydd are perfect for gatherings and celebrations with family and friends. The heart of the house being the handbuilt kitchen in the main building with Aga as well as the living room with woodburning stove through to the living area in The Annexe with doors that open out onto spectacular views of the gardens. The second kitchen is ideal for all prep and storage. Plas Newydd is the ideal place to relax and unwind whatever time of the year.
Kitchen / Dining Room
A large open plan space with a handbuilt, reclaimed wooden kitchen with a central farmhouse dining table seating 12 comfortably. The oil fired AGA is the heart of the room set into a large, Inglenook fireplace making this a cosy area to gather.
Second Kitchen
The second kitchen is located next to the kitchen/dining room and features an electric oven and hob, sink, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and lots of storage space. This room leads through to a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a WC.
Main Living Room
A cosy room with a large wood-burning stove set into a spectacular Inglenook with a wooden lintel. The room also features two leather sofas and an armchair and offers lovely views across the front garden.
Annexe Living Room
This second lounge area is located in the annexe. It is a bright, spacious room with exposed wooden beams, a leather three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa and an armchair. This room offers delightful views of the garden and leads out onto a large outdoor seating area.
Annexe Study
The annexe includes a study area with a large writing desk, which makes an ideal space to work; if required.
Main House Bathroom
The main family bathroom is located on the first floor of the main house and includes a Victorian-style WC and basin, alongside a lovely freestanding roll-top bath with a hand-held shower over.
Main House Shower Room
Located on the first floor of the main house, the shower room includes a walk-in shower cubicle and wash basin.
Annexe Bathroom
Located on the first floor of the annexe, serving two bedrooms, the annexe bathroom includes a bath with shower over, plus a wash basin, WC and plenty of units for storage space.
